UNITED WAY OF BARTOW COUNTY’S RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19)

United Way of Bartow County has started a Coronavirus response fund that will provide flexible resources to organizations in the Bartow area working with our most vulnerable citizens: members of communities who are disproportionately impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the economic consequences of this outbreak. This philanthropic response will work closely with government, business partners and other philanthropic resources to help the Response Fund rapidly deploy resources to community-based organizations at the front lines of our area’s current Coronavirus pandemic.

United Way is focused on information and referral.
As always, we are continuing to gather and share community information via social media and printed material. This information includes things such as school nutrition meal programs along with any other community-wide information on digital and homebound learning. We are helping to support and add resources for partner programs that are working to help with basic needs and other resources pertaining to health, homelessness and income that are even more in need during such a crisis. United Way, it’s volunteers and committee members will be sharing these posts on our own social media to reach a broader network of our community and updating our list of resources daily. We encourage you to share too!
